Now if you go to Car, Car systems, Vehicle settings and in there you should have a menu called Background Lighting or Interior Lighting depending on your MMI where you should be able to adjust the brightness of your front and rear footwell lights. Couple of photos attached of the lighting menu activated. Scott
I have encountered another fault with my Audi A6 1.9TDi Avant When I got in the car last night, the display showed all four doors as being open, the interior lights do not come on either, the power windows do not operate. According to the manual the windows are controlled by Fuse 14 and a check showed that it had blown, a replacement fuse blew immediately.

Most likly you have a burnt terminal on the conection at the headlght switch. Removed the conector and check the female pins. Or look at the old switch male pins for black marks. I think the wire color that feed the headlight fuses if yellow/black. Look at a wire diagram. If the load relay was bad t. A4 (B5 Platform) Discussion - Headlights not

2. the plunger is plastic and can snap. make sure you don't try and twist the plunger, push the brake pedal up as far as it will go, there is enough clearance. From memory, you don't need any tools, just twist the old one 90 degrees and it comes out, electrical plug on the back. Reply Like.

A6 / S6 (C5 Platform) Discussion - Interior lights not working - Hi everyone, I just purchased a 2005 Audi A6. The interior lights don't work. I know where the fuse boxes are on either side of the dash but I don't know which fuse it is. The lights above the visor mirrors do work, only the center when the doors are

The first step in troubleshooting your Audi A6's interior lights is to check the fuse. Your car's interior lights will not function properly if the fuse has blown or been disconnected for any reason. The fuse box for the Audi A6 is located on the driver's side of the engine compartment. To access it, you'll need to open the hood and Therefore, it is very important to fix the problem as soon as possible. Fortunately, this problem is often quite easy to fix. The most common reasons why brake lights don't work, but tail lights are working include: Bad Light Bulbs. Bad Brake Light Switch. Broken Fuse Or Fuse Box. Bad Sockets and Connectors. Broken Wire.

Test the switch using the multimeter. With the switch connected to both terminals, try activating the switch. If the multimeter shows no continuity or change in readings, you probably need to have the door switch replaced. A bad door switch is the last point of failure affecting the entire interior lights of your car.

Option 1: Adjust your car's dome light switch. There's a dome light switch in every vehicle. Some vehicles have a switch on the dashboard and another on the light itself. Your car's dashboard brightness display switch can turn off the dome light when it is at its highest setting.
Yep. The door open indicators are working and floor illumination works, but still not puddle and side indicators. I find it weird the two are linked because the fuses are divided front and back and not Driver-side to Passenger-side, so it's not a fuse issue (checked em anyway, but not it). 10-17-2011 07:12 PM #5. .
